The success of your requalification operations depends on the skill of your operators

Cyl-Sonic offers a full training class for our systems, including classroom presentations and discussions, videos, hands-on demonstrations, and exercises.

In addition, Nordco offers a full range of ultrasonic examination training options, in particular NDT Level I certification training.

The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) developed a set of guidelines, called the  Recommended Practice No. SNT-TC-1A, which were used to develop our in-house employer-based training, qualification, and certification programs.

Our training matches the established levels of qualification that are based upon a combination of education, training, experience, and qualification examinations.

• The basic levels begin with NDT Level I, which is primarily used to train an operator technician.
• The NDT Level II, which requires more training and experience, permits more independent activity including accepting and rejecting products, materials, and/or components.
• The NDT Level III usually requires four (4) years of experience as an NDT Level II operator. However, the number of years of experience depends upon the candidate's formal education.

While there are several personnel qualification and certification programs used, SNT-TC-1A employer based certification is widely accepted throughout the United States as the primary guide used for NDT personnel certification.
